Spring would have to be my most favourite season, I love the new growth in the garden and all the green paddocks around us. I have planted many Iceberg and David Austin roses in my garden so I could have fresh flower arrangements for my home. Today I have some simple bouquets from the garden to show you. Come and take a look.

I have a large collection of vases in all shapes and sizes. Some simple glass vases have been gifted from Ikea and others I have bought from Provincial Home Living. There is a small collection of beautiful crystal vases that have been given as gifts for special occasions, I love using them often too.

I always keep a good set of secateurs or two on hand for cutting flowers from the garden. Using the correct cutters really makes all the difference and gives your flower stems a clean cut. I usually put my possie of flowers together, holding it in one hand. This way I can carefully arrange each flower and then secure it together with an elastic band or floral wire.
Lastly trim the bottom of your arrangement so its nice and even and will fit perfectly in your chosen vase. What flowers do you have planted in your garden?
