As life gets so much busier, especially with Christmas just around the corner I’m so grateful to have a garden full of beautiful roses to enjoy.

I love a formal country garden lined with boxed hedges and filled with colorful Roses, Dahlias and Hydrangeas.

This is one of the pink David Austin roses that’s planted in the garden. The Heritage rose by David Austin. They have been planted for about ten years now.
After the last rose season, I pruned all the roses back quite a lot, so as to keep them flowering longer this season.
All the roses are planted in well drained soil and I feed them with Seasol or Sudden Impact fertilizer.
Once the rose has finished flowering I try and prune them regularly so they continue to flower throughout the season.

They are perfect roses for picking to fill many vases inside our home, especially for some Summer and Holiday entertaining.

I will soon be visiting the beautiful garden of Sarah Foster, Country Style and Life to bring you a tour of Sarah’s beautiful Country Style Garden.
What have you planted in your garden?
