Decorating with Blue and White is a timeless classic combination that never goes out of style.  Today I have some ideas on how to use blue and white striped fabric in your home decor.

Cushions

Cushions are the perfect way to add a beautiful blue and white stripe accent to your decor.  Mix your striped cushion with a plain colour and/or a floral pattern in blue and white.

Some of my favourite designers such as Bunny Williams, Mark D. Sikes, and Sarah Bartholomew Design love to use stripes in a blue and white colour decor scheme.   No matter what style your home is, Country, Coastal, Hampton’s style, or Modern Contemporary,  a blue and white colour scheme will always look effortlessly stylish

Bedroom

Add a blue and white stripe accent fabric in the bedroom with a fabric covered bed head and boxed pleat bed skirt.

Wall Paper

Blue and white wallpaper always feels fresh and stylish and works in most spaces. The stripes in the bathroom above are softened by the pale blue colour palette.

My home is decorated in neutral tones so I love to add some colour with a blue and white striped pattern.

Occasional Chair

I love nothing more than a blue and white striped occasional chair.  This classic Wingback chair from Verandah House would fit in any living room decor and is the perfect addition of a blue and white striped pattern.

Sometimes less is more when it comes to adding a blue and white striped pattern.  The palette and pattern are both versatile enough for casual living as well as elegant decor.
