We love renovating and building homes, at the moment we have a small project which includes a bathroom and kitchen. I am wanting to create a light and bright bathroom design with a neutral color palette. Come and take a look at my bathroom storyboard and inspiration.

Storyboard
I started my bathroom design by creating a storyboard and collecting many product and inspiration images. Pinterest is the perfect tool to use, create your own board, and pin your inspiration and products.
A storyboard will keep you on track and focus on the look you want for your bathroom and budget when there are so many bathroom vanities and tiles to choose from.
Tiles
There are so many floor and wall tiles to choose from, I have collected a few samples to try in the bathroom, this has helped me to choose my color palette and see what they look like in the new bathroom.
I’ve chosen a white subway tile for the shower, this will continue at half-height along the wall behind the toilet and vanity.
I would love to incorporate some waterproof VJ panelling on the other walls in this bathroom. I love this paneling at the moment, and you can order a waterproof version for wet areas.

Bathroom Vanity
Firstly check the cabinet measurements for your bathroom with the specifications to make sure the cabinet will be a suitable fit for all existing plumbing. Speak to your plumber first.
You can check out the products I’ve used for this design, I’m still deciding on the floor tiles. I will be choosing a floor tile similar to the square one above, in tones of white and grey, but with a subtle pattern, nothing too dark. The walls will be finished in Dulux Natural White with a shaker-style cabinet.
