Spring is the time to visit many beautiful gardens. Heronswood Gardens, Nursery and Cafe are located on the Mornington Peninsula in Dromana. Come and take a tour through the garden.
Heronswood Gardens are home to The Diggers Club and have a showcase of flowers and plants to suit our Australian climate and gardens.
With each season Heronswood Garden changes throughout the year with beautiful planting combinations of summer perennials and heirloom vegetables.
The Diggers Garden Shop specialises in Diggers signature heirloom seeds, cottage flowers and edible plants. Read more about the Heronswood Gardens here.
You can dine at Heronswood’s Fork to Fork Restaurant or just enjoy afternoon tea. The restaurant is now located within the historic Heronswood House.
We enjoyed our afternoon tea on the shared table by the reflection pool in the garden. We were so lucky for some beautiful Spring weather.
Monthly workshops are held at Heronswood to help you with all areas of gardening expertise or you can join the Diggers Club to receive special member discounts and garden advice.
Visit Heronswood Garden at no cost with your membership.
The Tile Garden mirrors the pattern of the Chinese tiles that have been used in the Verandah’s of Heronswood House. There is a separate garden made for each tile on the verandah.
A Wildflower Meadow Mix has been planted for this tiled garden. I can’t wait to visit Heronswood again in a few weeks to see the garden blooming.
Do you have a favourite garden to visit in Spring. We would love to hear about it.
