Heronswood House and Gardens are located on the beautiful Mornington Peninsula. You can enjoy a stroll through the gardens, shop the nursery for a huge range of plants, heirloom seeds and vegetables, and once you’re finished with that you can relax with a visit to the restaurant.
Heronswood Gardens are the home of The Diggers Club and showcase a range of flowers and plants for the garden. I love visiting Heronswood and the gardens are always different with each season throughout the year.
The Heronswood Restaurant is located within the historic Heronswood House. The Restaurant has stunning views of the bay and the dishes feature heirloom vegetables and local produce from the Mornington Peninsula.
The Diggers Garden Shop has a wide range of plants and they specialise in heirloom seeds, cottage flowers and edible plants that are complemented by a range of flowering shrubs and trees. Last year I bought three different varieties of tomatoes from Heronswood for my veggie garden.
Monthly workshops and various special events are held throughout the year at Heronswood. You can also become a member of the Diggers Club and enjoy the many things they have to offer.
