Cabinetry

White cabinetry is the perfect choice for a Hamptons style kitchen.  White will reflect the light in your kitchen to create a bright and airy coastal feel.  A Shaker-style cabinet door profile is a popular choice with its solid and traditional lines.

The simplistic and often symmetrical design of the recessed panel door and tall overhead cabinetry with glass display doors are perfect for a Hamptons Style look.  Dress your cabinets with a polished nickel or chrome handle.

Flooring

Pendant Lights

The kitchen is the center of your home for productivity and socialising.  It’s where my family gathers around the kitchen bench, from cooking and dining and entertaining friends we certainly spend a lot of time there so it is essential to have excellent overhead lighting in the kitchen.

Glass pendant lighting or industrial style pendant lights are a popular choice for a Hamptons style kitchen.

Island Bench & Benchtops

A  range hood is an essential ingredient to any kitchen with an internal fan eliminating cooking smells.  A Hamptons style kitchen traditionally features a statement rangehood to complete the look.

If the height of your ceiling doesn’t allow for a provincial range hood in your kitchen you can install one behind the overhead kitchen cupboards.  Install glass doors on some of your overhead cupboards on either side to keep a symmetrical and balanced look.
