I always look forward to Christmas and preparing the house and getting the family organised for a beautiful day together. It is such a busy time and the secret is to definately be organised and plan your Christmas preparation. Today I have some Christmas pictures to share from our home and celebrations.
Christmas Lunch
This year we started off the day with lunch and gathered around the table to share a Christmas meal. To give myself plenty of time I set my Christmas table the day before. This allows me to move things around and try something else if I’m not happy with the look and its also a good way to find out if I have forgotten anything.
My Mum always makes a Christmas Pudding and Trifle, they are so good.
Presents
We all sat around the Christmas tree in the living room to open the Christmas presents, this is always done with the Christmas tree lights flashing away and listening to some Michael Buble’ Christmas music.
Don’t you love the Christmas wrapping mess that is left behind.
Garden
We moved out into the garden after lunch and played a few games of croquet, the weather was perfect for champagne and croquet. I bought my croquet set from Rebel Sport. Bocce is also another favourite outdoor activity.
We had a beautiful Christmas day, I hope you did too.
