I love preparing the home for Christmas, it’s one of my favourite times of the year. From choosing and decorating my Christmas tree to planning the menu and setting the table.
Placing a wreath on the front door is always first on the list. I have added a navy bow I made from some linen fabric to make it a little different this year.

I decorated simply and elegantly this year, mostly with Christmas Wreaths. I placed them on the mantle, on the doors of my cabinets and the smaller ones just to simply sit on a few decor books on the coffee table.
We went with a real tree from the local Christmas tree farm again this year and decorated it with a mix of old, new and borrowed Christmas decorations.
I fell in love with this beautiful and bright country check fabric and made a cushion for a little bit of red and white in my home.
The red geranium was a perfect match.
