Spring is settling in and the garden is changing with more beautiful flowers blooming. Today I have seven pretty spring flowers from my home to show you. Come and take a look at whats been flowering in my garden and what I have bought from the local florists.
Freesias & Lilacs
This bouquet was a mix of white Freesias and white Lilacs. I love a blue and white ginger jar full of lush green and white flowers. The ginger jar was bought from one of my favourite stores, Portobello Home.
Ornamental Pear Tree Blossom
This white country style jug was from Provincial Home Living. Jugs in all shapes and sizes can be used as a vase. I have filled the jug with some Ornamental Pear tree blossom from my driveway. There was an abundance of Spring blossom this year. The pear trees are so beautiful.
Roses, Ranunculus & Chrysanthemums
This beautiful Spring flower bouquet was purchased from a local florist, it just so happened to be a perfect fit for this ginger jar. The bouquet is made up of roses, ranunculus and chrysanthemums.
Choose a vase to suit your flower arrangement. I have a small cupboard full of vases of all shapes and sizes for a low or tall flower arrangement.
Gather whatever is in your garden and mix together. I have used a small bunch of bought white roses and added some volume with my own white iceberg roses and some cottage plants from the garden to make this pretty bouquet.
Don’t forget to add greenery, they’re a great filler for a bunch of flowers. You can choose almost anything from the garden to fill out your posy of flowers.
Roses & Daphne
This small bunch of Daphne had such a beautiful scent. Flowers can bring such happiness to your home. Grab a basket and go for a forage in the garden. Do you have a favourite flower in your garden to fill your vases with?
