The Dahlia garden has made a come back from Wednes

The Dahlia garden has made a come back from Wednesdays heat, fingers crossed it can pull up from tomorrow too. 🌸

This garden started as two Peony gardens, which didn’t work out. After two seasons of the local birds digging up the Peonies and eating them.

I’ve re located Dahlias from another garden, divided and stored them over winter and planted them here in October, which was a bit early. (And I won’t be doing that again).

I didn’t expect the tubers to divide successfully, so was very surprised with these beautiful flowers. 🩷
