Ralph Lauren, primarily known as a fashion designer, has also made significant contributions to interior design. He’s renowned for his distinctive style, which often blends elements of luxury, sophistication, and Americana. Lauren’s approach to interior design reflects his fashion sensibilities, incorporating classic motifs, rich textures, and a sense of timeless elegance.

Ralph Lauren has a restaurant called “Ralphs” located on Boulevard Saint-Germain in Paris. It’s known for its American-inspired cuisine served in a stylish setting. The restaurant is part of Ralph Lauren’s brand and reflects the designer’s aesthetic, offering a unique dining experience in the heart of Paris.

The Courtyard

Ralph’s courtyard restaurant in Paris is designed to offer a serene and stylish outdoor space to create a charming dining environment, decorated with a blend of vintage and modern fabrics in blue and white.

The decor features elements that blend classic elegance with a relaxed garden atmosphere. Filed with wrought-iron furniture with plush cushions, surrounded by lush greenery and fragrant flowers.

By night the the courtyard is adorned with subtle lighting, such as string lights or lanterns, creating a cozy and romantic atmosphere for evening dining. Overall, the decor aims to transport guests to a tranquil oasis within the bustling city, where they can enjoy a meal surrounded by natural beauty and timeless elegance.

Inspired by the courtyard from Ralph’s I have designed my outdoor living space, adding splashes of blue and white floral, stripes, and checks.

I have added lots of greenery with potted boxwood balls and white hydranges. It really is a lovely place to sit with a summer drink and entertain guests.

Whilst creating this outdoor living space I have made sure to provide something comfortable for seating with cushions and throw rugs for coziness.

Being a large area I have added lots of greenery in pots to soften the space and I have defined the seating and dining areas separately.

Style is very personal. It has nothing to do with fashion. Fashion is over quickly.
Style is forever. – Ralph Lauren
