There is something so special about setting a table for Easter. The season brings with it a softness, with fresh flowers, gentle colours, and the promise of gathering with family and friends around the table. This year, I wanted a setting that felt fresh and timeless. It includes touches of blue, green, and white inspired by the garden.

Easter is one of my favourite times of year to set a table. It is even more special when it can be taken outdoors into the garden. With the Dahlias in bloom and the company of our geese wandering nearby, it felt like the perfect setting for a table that celebrates the season.
For this tablescape I chose a palette of blue, green and crisp white — colours that always feel fresh and timeless against the softness of the garden. I started my table setting with a generous basket of blue Hydrangeas to form the table centerpiece, bringing fullness and a beautiful sense of abundance to the table.

Playful touches of Easter are woven throughout, with sweet little bunnies scattered across the tablescape, adding a sense of charm and whimsy to the table setting. The Origami Rabbits really made my table setting complete.

At each place setting rests a beautiful blue polka dot Mache Egg, tied with a generous ribbon bow. They are perfect for hiding chocolate treats or a small gift. A simple detail that adds a little extra charm to the table.

The foundation of the table is the beautiful Bonnie dinner plates from Provincial Home Living. Their classic design pairs so naturally with the garden setting, creating a table that feels both elegant and relaxed — perfect for a long Easter lunch shared outdoors.
Surrounded by flowers, fresh air, and a table set with thoughtful details, it’s a reminder that the most special gatherings are often the simplest ones — good company, a beautiful setting, and a moment to slow down and enjoy the season.

A beautifully wrapped gift sits at each place setting, dressed in soft green paper scattered with delicate polka dots and finished with a neatly tied bow. A small touch that feels both thoughtful and charming.

Small details make the table feel thoughtful. Polka dot napkins, layered plates, and little Easter rabbits nestled between place settings create a table ready for a long and leisurely lunch.
